Tuesday, May 29, 2007 : Olympiakos go 2-1 down, Panathinaikos cruise through
Aris could qualify for the championship play-off final on Wednesday night if they beat Olympiakos in Athens after a second victory over the Reds in Thessaloniki on Sunday.

Aris lead the best-of-five series 2-1 after their 78-76 victory, which followed a thrilling match in northern Greece.

Champions Panathinaikos await the winners after beating Panionios for a third time in the other semi-final on Sunday.

The Greens turned on the style to beat their Athens rivals 85-67. It was a real team effort for Zeljko Obradovic’s men as the points were shared between all 12 players.

The win ensured a 3-0 clean sweep for the recently crowned European champions.
