Athens are in the hunt for a fourth successive championship after their 31-10 defeat of Attica Springboks in the final round 7 of the league.
Athens struggled to break down Springboks and held a slender 12-10 lead at the break but a stirring second half saw the champions run in a total of five tries and complete their 34th successive win since the start of the Greek championship in 2005-6.
They will now face Iraklis in the semi-finals on March 22 at their home ground of Zirinio, close to Kifissia.
Iraklis finished their in the standings behind Attica on points difference.
Attica Sprinboks will also be at home after coming in second. Their reward will be a tie against league new boys Thessaloniki Lions who took advantage of some suspect tackling to run in seven tries to beat Athens Spartans 41-10.
The other game between Rhodes and Mecedones Evosmos did not take place as the Macedonians did not travel to the Dodecanese. It is the third game they have forfeited this season.
Attica will host the Lions at Glyka Nera on March 21.
The two winners will meet in the final on March 28 (venue still to be decided).
