Reports about the alleged fixing of more football games in Greece, including one in the Super League have rocked the domestic game since Monday night.

According to what the Greek media have reported, UEFA, the sport's governing body in Europe, has forwarded to the Hellenic Football Federation a set of six suspicious games that took place from November 2009 to February 2010, one of which was for the top flight and the other five for B' Ethniki.

General Secretary for Sports Panos Bitsaxis said he had no knowledge of that, " but if that is true then we will forward everything to the Supreme Court.

Until now there has been no confirmation or denial by the Greek federation or the two leagues' organisers.

If the reports are correct, this will be the second set of matches reported by UEFA to the local federation this year, as the first one, concerning exclusively B' Ethniki teams has already been forwarded to the Supreme Court and the Financial Crimes Squad.

Rumours suggest that the Super League match under the spotlight does not concern any of the top teams at the table.

Thanasis Papazoglou: on target for PAOK A late goal from Thanasis Papazoglou was enough to send PAOK into second place in the Super League as they beat Atromitos 1-0 on Saturday.

The 21-year-old came on as an 80th minute substitute for Nikos Arabatzis and left his mark on the game with just two minutes remaining.

The result takes PAOK to 43 points, five behind leaders Panathinaikos and three ahead of Olympiakos who can reclaim second place if they beat Panionios in New Smyrni on Sunday.

Panathinaikos are at home to AEK Athens.

Slovenian international Mirnes Sisic struck twice in the second half to give PAS Yiannina a valuable 2-0 win at home to Larissa while Iraklis also eased their relgation worries with a 1-0 win over Kavala.

Constantin Victoras Iacob got the only goal in the 17th minute.

Yiannina and Iraklis both move out of the bottom three while Larissa now join Panthrakikos and Levadiakos in the basement.
